About the Artist
Wendy was born in Northern Ontario and has been
living in Nova Scotia for most of her life.

She is a self-taught artist who has been painting in
watercolor  since 1991, with a focus on life in her
community of Hackett's Cove and the province of
Nova Scotia.

Wendy comes by her love for painting naturally - she
is the daughter of French Village Painter Patricia Kew
Ahern and the granddaughter of well-known Ontario
artist - author, the late George Lawrence Cassidy.

Wendy's paintings are in homes in many parts of
Canada, the U.S.A, Australia, England, Japan, South
Korea, and Germany.

At least half of the work W

commission, sometimes for gift giving and sometimes
for personal collections. S
he is well-practised at
painting Nova Scotia scenery, flowers, figures, birds,
pets & other animals, buildings, street scenes and still
life.
